Photography Competition – EU Support to Kosovo

Europe House in Kosovo is organising a photo competition “EU Support to Kosovo”. This competition is organised as part of Europe Week 2021 activities.

The aim of this competition is to give youth and photography enthusiasts the opportunity to show their creativity in highlighting the EU support to Kosovo.

EU is the largest donor in Kosovo, supporting Kosovo institutions and citizens with projects in many different areas such as: economy, health, rule of law, education, sports, energy, employment, agriculture, and digitalisation.

We invite all photography enthusiasts to join us in celebrating the Europe week by participating in our photography competition. Submit your photographs that highlight EU Support to Kosovo in a creative and original manner and win great prizes.

To participate in this competition you can submit your pictures by sending them to info@europehouse-kosovo.com. Submit you photographs until 7^th of May 2021. The winners will be announced on 14^th of May 2021.

A professional jury consisting of a photographer and EU Office representatives will select the winners of the competition. The jury will select photographs that are creative, original and best describe the EU Support to Kosovo.

Criteria

To be considered for this open competition for the public, the submission must comply with the following criteria:

1. The competition is open to the general public;
2. Submitted photographs must display the EU Support to Kosovo in one of the areas: economy, health, rule of law, education, sports, energy, employment, agriculture, digitalisation or any other area supported by the EU;
3. Submitted photographs must be original work and not taken by a third party;
4. Submission must be made by sending the photographs with a short description via email to info@europehouse-kosovo.com;
5. Each submission must have from 1 up to 3 photographs;
6. Photographs will be judged based on their originality and creativity that best describe the EU Support to Kosovo;
7. The submitted photographs must be in high quality;
8. The photographs must clearly show the EU4K logo or a sign indicating that the project is funded or supported by EU.

Prizes

1. First place – €200
2. Second place €100
3. Third place – €50

The EU Office holds the right to use the shortlisted photos in the promotion of the projects, in publications and other printed and online promotional materials.
