About

Pomilo Blumm srl & Koperativa LLC, renowned communications agencies in Italy and Kosovo respectively, are currently implementing the EU for Kosovo Communication Services, funded by the EU Office in Kosovo. They are currently searching for a self-motivated individual, who wants to learn more about event management, helpdesk, and secretary duties.

The project is seeking highly motivated, and ambitious students or graduates to be a trainee in the Traineeship Programme, which focuses on planning, promoting, and executing upcoming thematic events and campaigns. The traineeship programme will help graduates develop their skills professionally, with a duration of up to 3+3 months. The trainee must be able to commit at least 20 hours per week. Dates/times are flexible as well as traineeship start and end dates and can be arranged around the selected student’s schedule, but ideal candidate should be able to commit at least 4 hours daily, preferably in the afternoon.

The main goal of the project is to provide information to Kosovo people and to specific target groups on the EU, its policies and its programmes as well as to provide assistance to Helpdesk Officer / Centre Administrator to provide efficient response to citizens inquires. Above all, the aim is to equip young locals with valuable experience and allow them to gain exceptional knowledge about helpdesk and administration in the specific area of job market.

Trainee position – 1

What does a trainee’s daily work consist of? (Duties and Responsibilities)

  • Getting a first-hand experience into the work of Europe, developing new competencies and skills in line with your personal interests and professional aspirations.
  • Providing information to Kosovo people and to specific target groups on the EU.
  • Providing assistance to Project Team to conduct efficient outreach activities.
  • Contributing to specific events with new ideas and innovative solutions.
  • Providing assistance in collecting relevant information about prospective guests and events.
  • Covering for the Helpdesk Officer / Centre Administrator when absent, consequently be responsible for answering citizens’ inquiries.
  • Providing support in the administrative tasks and activities of the Europe House in the day-to-day operations.

Providing assistance to any other tasks contributing to the smooth functioning of the Europe House, including the participation in meetings and events.

What do we expect from you? (Qualifications)

  • Student (or recent graduate);
  • Native speaker of one or more of local languages;
  • Excellent knowledge of English (both written and spoken), knowledge of other local languages would be an advantage;
  • General knowledge of European values;
  • Good writing and computer skills;
  • Showing initiative, and the ability to work independently and under pressure;
  • An open-minded approach to European topics;
  • An interest in learning about the Europe House working environment;
  • Willingness to work in a multicultural environment;
  • A proactive attitude;
  • Flexible to working hours;

Possibility to be extended with 3-months period
  1. Applications are screened upon the eligibility criteria defined in the Traineeship Call. 
  2. Eligible candidates will be screened by defined independent jury.
  3. Shortlisted candidates are required to undergo a further assessment (e.g. telephone / online interview/ recorded video interview,) to evaluate their suitability for the role, discuss mutual expectations and possible starting date. 
  4. As a result of the previous assessment, candidates can be selected, rejected or placed in a reserve list for future positions.
  5. Successful candidate will receive a Traineeship offer, stating the starting date and the duration of the traineeship up to 3 months.
