Europe House Kosovo, supported by the European Union Kosovo, has prepared numerous green and digital activities to mark Europe Day 2022. Concerts, workshops, discussions, and others are some of the events prepared to mark Europe Day. See below the list of activities.
Green Future and Digital Transformation Street Art
Europe Week 2022 activities start with splashing colors on one of the major arterial roads of the capital, Prishtina. For ten consecutive days, Prishtina will welcome renowned international artists, who together with local artists, through color and street art, will give life to the city, with a special message for a green and digital future.
Together with the EU Ambassador Tomáš Szunyog and the Ambassadors of other Member States, we will launch Europe Day 2022 on the two main streets of Prishtina, which will be open for fun and free movement without cars and pollution.
Therefore, come with your loved ones and enjoy cycling or electric scooters, which will be at your disposal.
Green Future Through AR Technology
The future is green and digital! On Europe Day, Europe House in Kosovo and BONEVET have prepared a fantastic virtual event for you.
Come to Europe House in Prishtina and experience like never before the main sources of renewable energy presented through various animations and AR (Augmented Reality) technology.
The “Green Future” exhibition hosted in collaboration with “BONEVET” on Europe Day, is a great opportunity for all of you who want to learn more about renewable energy sources, through various projects created by “BONEVET” students.
Come to Europe House in Prishtina, support new technology innovators and learn more about green energy.
Europe House and BONEVET organize a tech workshop for kids aged 7-11. During the workshop in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM), kids will learn through mBot robots and the Scratch coding language, how to create works from their imagination.
Trivia Quiz: Green and Digital Future
Participants divided into teams of three persons, will test their knowledge of green energy and technology, and compete for three main prizes.
Chopin Piano FEST Prishtina Opening Ceremony
One of the most important festivals of classical music in Kosovo, Chopin Piano Fest Prishtina opens this year on May 9 on Europe Day, with the concert of world-renowned pianist Martin Garcia Garcia, and ends on June 8, bringing to the Kosovar public more than 15 concerts, master classes, workshops, competitions for instrumentalists and composers, and other cultural activities.
Another special feature of this year’s edition of Chopin Piano FEST Prishtina, is the participation of the festival in the SYNERGY program supported by the European Union through the Creative Europe program.
Youth and ICT companies meet up
For all you who are seeking a career in the information technology sector or who just want to learn more, Europe House in Kosovo and the Kosovo Association of Information and Communication Technology (STIKK) have prepared an excellent opportunity for you.
