‘Artists in Quarantine’ – Edona Kryeziu
‘I materialised ‘windows without exit’ one day before I left Prishtine, returning to Germany where I was born and raised after almost a year of living in Kosove. During quarantine days, reflections on borders, freedom of movement, home and self became more prominent. Experiencing quarantine in Prishtine, made me reflect on the narratives of the 90s, police hours, confinement, the history of migration and the present reality of migration. The sound is extracted from the balcony-protests against the despotism of politicians’ – Edona Kryeziu.

Edona is one of the participants of the virtual exhibition ‘Artists in Quarantine’, currently in display at Europe House in Pristina.
