On the 21st of March, EUICC had the pleasure of having a respectable number of movie-lovers who had a chance to see “Le Doulos” – a great movie directed by Jean-Pierre Melville. Movie screening happened as part of the collaboration between EUICC and the French Embassy in Kosovo, within the framework of “Semaines de la Francophonie” (Javët e Frankofonisë në Kosovë).
Jean-Pierre Melville was a French filmmaker, well known for his tragic, minimalist film noir crime dramas. In addition to “Le Doulos”, Melville directed “Le Samourai”, “Le Cercle Rouge”, “Le deuxieme soufflé” and other movies.

The EU Information and Cultural Centre in Prishtina collaborates every year with the Francophonie initiative in Kosovo bringing forward the French culture and helping Kosovo people getting to know more of the French must-see movies and cinematic projects.
This year’s Francophonie movie theme is thriller. After the movie there was a small cocktail at the EUICC to help the guests continue to discuss about the film.
