The Europe House in North Mitrovica organised an inspirational talk with Zumra Kabashi, whose inspiring life story covers a 17-year-long basketball career.
The discussion touched on her experiences and accomplishments as a former basketball player during the Yugoslavian period and how they relate to the current state of affairs.
Coming from another era where being part of one nationality or the other was not important, Zumra stated that her goal today remains influencing the youth “not the cultivate nationalism and hatred towards each other”.
